Fun for all ages in Mil Palmeras and Torre de la Horadada from August 11th-15th
There is plenty to do along the seaside in Pilar de la Horadada this weekend with a pirate market in Mil Palmeras and local fiestas in Torre de la Horadada.
The pirate market is at the Parque Universal in Mil Pallmeras from August 11th-15th from 7pm-1am with artisans and merchants selling wares and giving demonstrations, plus for children a play area, a pirate boat ride, workshops and entertainment.
The market will also be along Avenida del Mediterráneo in Torre de la Horadada (between Playas Jesuitas and El Conde) in the evenings from August 17th-20th.
The Torre de la Horadada fiestas start this Friday, August 11th with a performance by the Coral Horadada at 10pm in the Plaza Antonio Sánchez Lozano.
On Saturday August 12th there will be a raffle to raise funds for the Easter brotherhoods
On Sunday August 13th at 8pm there will be salsa dancing in the street in the Plaza Antonio Sánchez Lozano, where at 10pm the band “Las Rutas” will perform.
On Monday August 14th there will be a traditional procession offering flowers to Nuestra Señora de la Asunción leaving from opposite the Guardia Civil station at 8:15pm and heading to the chapel. At 10:30pm the band “The Colors” will play in the Plaza Antonio Sánchez Lozano.
On Tuesday August 15th a dawn Rosary will be sung around the streets, setting off from the chapel of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción at 6:30am, followed at 7:15 by a Mass at the Club Náutico Torre de la Horadada, from where at 8:30am a maritime procession with the statue of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción will begin.
At 9:30pm there will be a solemn procession through the streets of Torre de la Horadada with the statue of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, followed by fireworks in the area between Calles Ancla, Arpón, Galeón y Norte. At 10:30pm the band “Athenas” will give a concert in the Plaza Antonio Sánchez Lozano.
