The Orihuela Christmas Market has been presented by Councillor Miguel Ángel Fernández and is at the Glorieta Gabriel Miró in the city until December 24th. It opens each day from 10am to 2pm and 5pm to 9pm.
"We hope it will serve as a complement to the shops and we encourage residents and visitors to walk around our streets and pick up their Christmas presents at local businesses," he said.
The Christmas Market has 25 stalls at which you can find various seasonal products like crafts, medicinal plants, spices, leather, nuts in shells, lamps, decorations and jewellery.
While the market is open there are also different activities to entertain the whole family:
Wednesday December 20th at 5:30pm - Balloon modelling workshop.
Thursday December 21st at 5:30pm - Storytelling.
Friday December 22nd at 5:30pm - "Make your own Father Christmas" workshop.
Saturday December 23rd at 11am - Kite making workshop
