Orihuela Costa Local Police arrested a 26 year old man on Sunday who had left a petrol station without paying for €10 of fuel. Officers chased him all around local streets and when they caught him they searched the car and found 104 grams of cocaine hidden inside a Happy Meal box from a fast food restaurant.
He fled the petrol station at about 3:30pm and the attendant called the police, who immediately gave chase until he eventually lost control and crashed into a roundabout on Calle Nicolás de Bussy
At this moment they identified the young man and inspected the vehicle. Inside was a box for a children's Happy Meal inside which was 104 grams of cocaine with a street value of €7,000. The suspect has a previous record for possession of drugs and thefts.
