Tracks were damaged during violence at protestorihuela train station

The train service between Orihuela and Murcia was restored on Sunday after being closed for four days.

The Rail Infrastructures Administrator (Adif) informed they have repaired damage to the tracks that was caused last Wednesday during protests in Murcia demanding that the AVE high speed train pass through the city in a tunnel.

The damage prevented trains from running and passengers had to take a bus service instead.
