TUESDAY 17th JULY
776TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE RECONQUEST
9.30 a.m. Procession of the “Oriol” Glorious banner starting from the Town Hall to the Cathedral.
10.00 a.m. Procession of Saints Justa and Rufina and return to their Parish Church.
10.30 a.m. Solemn Mass in honour of “the Reconquest” and subsequent parade.
8.45 p.m. MOORS AND CHRISTIANS CHILDREN’S PARADE starting at Ocarasa Street.
11.30 p.m. Removal of the “Oriol” Glorious banner from the principal balcony of the Town Hall.

There is a free bus service available every night from Entre Naranjos and Orihuela Costa. The buses depart from Orihuela Costa town Hall in Playa Flamenca and pick up for the return at the Glorieta Gabriel Miró park in Orihuela.
On Sunday July the 15th the bus departs at 6pm and picks up to return at 10pm. From Tuesday the 17th to Saturday the 21st it departs at 7pm and picks up again at 1am. For information and bookings call the Orihuela Costa Tourist Info on 96 676 0000 ext. 32. A minimum of 20 people are required for the service to go ahead. The buses are accessible for disabled people.
