The National Police is investigating the discovery of a body in Alicante, found with six gunshot wounds
Officers from the National Police are investigating the circumstances of the alleged murder of a 27-year-old man, whose body was found on Sunday morning in Alicante, having suffered six gunshot wounds.
Neighbours alerted the police to the presence of the body of a man lay on the ground in a pool of blood in the north of the city.
Upon arriving at the scene it didn’t take officers long to identify the man who has a history of both violent crimes and crimes against property.
An autopsy is being carried out to determine the cause of death, considered most likely to be as a result of the six shots fired into his head, chest and shoulder.
The investigation is still open to determine if the killing was as a result of an altercation, or if it was in settlement of a debt, although other options are being taken into account whilst the police search for the perpetrators of the homicide.
