Those of you who are familiar with the beautiful protected coastline area of Cala Ferris in Torrevieja, will know what a stunning location we are lucky to have right on our doorstep.

It is one of the few unspoilt virgin beaches left in this area, with crystal clear waters and golden sand. Measuring only 20 metres wide and 200 metres long, those that have visited will be aware of its beauty and tranquillity, particularly first thing in the morning and later on at the end of the as the sun is setting.

For these reasons, amongst others, Cala Ferris is one of the most photographed local areas of natural beauty in Torrevieja, and it just so happens that there’s a photography exhibition at the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Centre, with Cala Ferris as the main subject, taking place throughout this month until Sunday 25 November (17.00h).

The exhibition has been organised and put together by various bodies and groups including the Town Hall of Torrevieja, Instituto Municipal de Cultura Joaquín Chapaprieta, the Torrevieja satellite university campus, the University of Alicante, the environmental group Salvemos Lo Ferris and the Torrevieja Photography Group.
