Orihuela will be hosting a number of events over the next couple of weeks, both in the city and the coastal areas, read on for the full schedule
Orihuela’s tourist information office has published a list of events set to take place over the mid-November weeks, which are of interest to both those looking for touristic values and those with a more cultural leaning.
On Sunday, 11th November, there will be an Environmental Route, Aguamarina, a walking tour of one of the most popular and environmentally rich areas of the coast, starting at 10:00 a.m. from the urb. Aguamarina, calle Aire.

Moving into the city, the cultural department has launched a photographic event, it’s actually the third time it’s taken place now, and you can get more information from the dedicated website, www.fotomatonfestival.es.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, 24th November, the “Seminary Route”, guided walking tour is taking place, starting at 10:30 a.m. from the tourist information office in Orihuela, and for just 5 euro admission you get to take part in food tasting with some extremely tantalising nibbles.

Finally, if you’re a lover of gin and tapas, then Orihuela is the place to be next week as from November 16 till 18 the IV Tapas Route & Gin Tonic festival will take place. We will give you more information on that event nearer the time, but at least for now you can make a note in your diary.
