It has been a busy year for the life guards in Torrevieja, but most of their services were with a positive result The company operating the life guard service on the beaches of Torrevieja has reported that their teams assisted thousands of people throughout the season. Life guards are contracted to a private company in Torrevieja, and operate from June 15 to September 15, with two periods, “average” and “high” season. Tunnel of Terror and Other Halloween Activities in Torrevieja

The Department for Commerce at the town hall of Torrevieja has put together numerous activities for Halloween. Unemployment falls to 14.55% in the third quarter, the lowest level since the end of 2008

The number of people in work stood at 19,528,000 in the third quarter of 2018, according to data from the Labour Force Survey (EPA) published on Thursday by the National Statistics Institute (INE). This is the highest figure since the end of 2008 and demonstrates the sustained recovery in the labour market. Over the last year, employment has grown by 478,000, a year-on-year increase of 2.51%.
