The Department for Commerce at the town hall of Torrevieja has put together numerous activities for Halloween.

There will be competitions, catwalks and workshops for people of all ages, which are all mainly being celebrated in the main square – Plaza de la Constitución – plus surrounding pedestrianised streets and, of course, the main streets running through the town as well.

Trick or Treat?

Manuela Osuna, councillor for Commerce, has explained in a press release that more that 40 shops and businesses within the Torrevieja centre will be giving away hundreds of sweets and surprises to local children that visit the centre tomorrow in the ¿Trick or Treat? initiative.

To obtain the gifts, the children have to get a special Halloween passport, which have been deposited around the town, stamped in at least eight different businesses.

Many of the activities will take place in the main square of Torrevieja, such as the children’s workshop titled “Pintate con nosotros” (face-painting). This will start at 16.30h and finish at 18.30h. Another workshop is the “terrifying stories” one, which will go on from 17.30h to 19.30h.

The parade will take place through the following streets from 18.30h: Plaza de la Constitución, Ramón Gallud, María Parodí, Pedro Lorca, Joaquín Chapaprieta and Caballero de Rodas. These roads will also be closed to traffic during this period.
