Fancy something a little different this weekend? How about a guided tour around Orihuela!
Continuing with the success of their most recent schedule, the tourism department in Orihuela will be hosting more guided tours throughout the autumn.
The full autumn schedule is attached to this article, but let’s have a look at this weekend first, starting off with Saturday, October 6th, and the ‘Monumental Route’.
Starting at the tourist information office, Orihuela Centro, at 11:00 a.m., this free walking tour takes visitors around the centre of Orihuela, explaining, in detail, some of the historic monuments found in the city.
Places are limited and so you must book, details of how are at the end.
The, on Sunday, October 7th, the ‘Miguel Hernandez Route’ takes walking visitors around some of the known places where the most famous son of the city worked and wrote about.
Again, this tour starts at the tourist information office, Orihuela Centro, at 11:00 a.m., and places are once again limited.
