The youth councillor for Orihuela has announced an end of summer concert for this Friday, although we´re pretty sure the young at heart will be welcome too (but don´t quote us on this if you get kicked out for “Dad Dancing”)

Orihuela councillor for young people, Mar Ezcurra, has announced a free concert for this Friday to say goodbye to summer, 2018.

The event will take place in the Plaza de Togores, starting at 9.30pm, and will include a performance from Murcia based group, Viva Suecia. The group will perform in Orihuela on the eve of the feast of the patron saint of Orihuela, the Virgin of Monserrate.

There will also be a bar available, with proceeds from drink sales going to benefit the association ADIS Vega Baja.

Mar Ezcurra said, “Taking advantage of the festivity of the Virgin of Monserrate we have scheduled this concert so that the eve of this holiday people can enjoy music and their city.”

After the performance of Viva Suecia, Ley’Dj will put the final culmination to this great musical night. The renowned DJ arrives in Orihuela to conclude the event with, “an unparalleled show of rhythm, music, colours and dance”.
