Oooh arrrrr there’s a pirate market in Torre de la Horadada this weekend

If you like anything pirate-related, we can’t promise that you’ll be walking the plank, although maybe that could be arranged, but head down to Torre de la Horadada over the course of this weekend or alternatively over the first weekend of August.

The town hall of Pilar de la Horadada has organised a ‘Pirate Market’ (Mercado Pirata) as part of its pirate series of activities.

The market will take place over the aforementioned weekends, but in the late hours of the evening and early morning, next to the El Conde and Jesuitas beaches.

Similar to the popular medieval markets, this Pirate Market will go all out to create an atmosphere of days of old, with colourful costumes, pirate-like scenery, demonstrations and workshops for everyone to join in with.

There will be numerous stalls selling handmade crafts, a children’s area, pirate ship, kid’s animation and loads more.

Do we like the sound of this? Oooooh arrrrrrr me lad. Er, I think that’s a yes.
