Watch the moon and stars in Pinar de Campoverde

For all the star and moon-gazers out there, you’ll love this event on Saturday that has been organised by the town hall of Pilar de la Horadada.

Night watchers will meet once again for the annual ‘Moon Meet’ that is being held in Pinar de Campoverde for the 13th time. Ooooooh that number may be significant, or spooky!

The evening will be led by José Ginés Madrid and he will be accompanied by local astronomers Manuel Ambert, Miguel Lloret, Paco Reyes and Andrés Roldán.

Yes, the evening will be given in Spanish (with maybe some English as well), but who needs words when they’re contemplating the moon and star?

The team will be bringing their technologically advanced telescopes and equipment to get the best views of the moon and its craters.
