After five successful years previously, the nocturnal walk at Santa Pola returns once again, inviting participants on the evening of 28 July, 2018

The walk is suitable for people of most ages, although young children and those with mobility problems might find it difficult.

The schedule sees walker leave at 9:30 p.m., departing from the Castle-Fortress of Santa Pola, although you should arrive early in oder to book in.

After about 5 hours of walking, a distance of some 12 kilometres, visiting the lighthouse viewpoint, where participants will have the opportunity to get to know the area of ​​the Sierra de Santa Pola and its influence on the Spanish Civil War, through an explanatory talk.

Returning back to the castle, you will be welcomed with a cool drink, which will no doubt be quite a refreshing end to a considerable hike.

You can take your own food with you, but you must book in advance, and there is a small fee for taking part. Not unlike cheap flights, the price increases the nearer to departure date, so booking early is advisable, and the cheapest ticket will then only cost you a fiver each. Discounts are available for those who normally qualify.

You can buy your tickets in advance on July 20 and 27 at Silvia Martínez de Santa Pola Pavilion between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m.

Tickets can also be purchased on the day of departure, July 28, at 8:30 p.m. at the Castillo-Fortaleza.
