The biggest live music festival in Spain is set to take place from 19 to 22 of July
The Killers, The Pet Shop Boys and Liam Gallagher are amongst the headline acts at FIB 2018, taking place in the now globally famous coastal town of Benicàssim from the 19 to 22 of July.
If you want to really get into the festival spirit, camping is the most popular means of accommodation, and the good news is that the campsite is opening from Monday 16 July. So get that tent packed, your camping or glamping essentials, get ready for the party of your life, and, unlike some music festivals we´ll not mention, you don´t even have to worry about mud, the weather forecast is for glorious sunshine throughout.
Benicàssim is located on the Azahar coast in the province of Castellón, about 12km from the provincial capital and 87km from Valencia. The festival site is located north of the town of Benicàssim , on the N-340 km, and it will be clearly signposted.
The event welcomes of ages, but you should keep in mind that the duration of the festival is from 6:00 in the evening until 6:00 in the morning (yes! All night!), so it may not be suitable for young children. Those not yet of adult age may also need parental consent to attend unaccompanied, and younger teens will have to drag an adult along too, so you should check with the ticket sellers.
On the subject of tickets, you want to know the cost, we know that. Keep in mind though, this is a unique festival, a one of a kind. Yes, we are softening the blow a little, because it´s not cheap. A basic one-day ticket starts at 55€ (depending on the day), and it does increase if you want camping, or VIP status.
All of the information is on the official website, fiberfib.com, and as always you must be careful to only buy your tickets from official outlets. We´d hate for you to get all the way there, tent on your back, lunchbox in your hand, only to be turned away because you´ve bought a fake ticket. Go through the official website and you should be okay.
Pitch that tent, put on your shorts, flowers in your hair if you wish, and let the festival of festivals begin, although not until July 22 of course.
