A night stroll through La Mata natural park, with the health benefits of nature the only agenda. Sounds perfect.

How about brushing off the stresses of summer with a gentle wellbeing walk through a natural park? Sounds perfect doesn´t it! Well, you can do just that in La Mata as the popular walk that took place in April is happening again later this month.

As the introduction to the walk explains, health is not only the absence of illness, but a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being. There are many personal, social, economic and environmental factors that determine the health status of a person, and in this guided wellbeing walk through the natural park of La Mata, it is hoped you can become a little more “aware” of this.

The walk is an accompanied route in which we will not only learn about the scientific evidence of the benefits that nature offers to health and wellbeing, but we will experience it in that same natural environment.

Once you´ve been on the walk, you will be invited to sit with your fellow strollers and enjoy a late supper, although you do have to bring your own food.

Places are limited and so booking is essential, and it is likely to be popular, so early booking is definitely recommended.

The event takes place from 8 p.m. on July 24, meeting at the Information Centre at the Natural Park of La Mata-Torrevieja.

The walk is recommended for adults only and you should bring mosquito repellent, comfortable clothes and tied shoes, drink and something to eat at the supper at the end of the walk.
