There are eight concerts forming part of the Elche Jazz Festival
It is true to say that lovers of music or sport, for example, will often travel long distances to see their favourite band, DJ or team perform.
And while that is true, it’s always better when the event that you want to go and see is right on your doorstep – or thereabouts.
As from tomorrow, Thursday 28 June, Elche will be holding its annual Jazz Festival.
There will be a total of eight different concerts, which will all be held in the fantastic setting of the weapons courtyard of the Palacio de Altamira.
The Palacio de Altamira is a fabulous Gothic fortress that was built between the 15th and 16th centuries. Today, it is the home to the city’s Archaeological Museum and concerts are often held there. It is situated next to the Municipal Palm Park.
