Albatera starts its fiestas on Saturday

More than 15 days of celebrations in the municipality Ana Serna, mayoress of Albatera has presented the programme for the 2018 fiestas in honour of Santiago Apostol, which start this Saturday, June 30th with the traditional “chupinazo” (firework) and continue until July the 26th. Fire brigade rescue pregnant dog from canal in Almoradí

Ropes and ladder were required to pull the animal from the water Fire fighters from the station in Almoradí rescued a pregnant dog on Tuesday after it had fallen by accident into a canal. It happened at about 9pm when the animal was walking with the woman who owns it through an area next to the canal. Since it was impossible to get out by itself the owner decided to call the Local Police.
