Two adults had to be cut out of their vehicle in Orihuela
A baby has emerged unscathed from a collision between a car and a truck carrying butane gas cylinders.
Two women suffered minor injuries in the crash which occurred near to the Ociopía shopping centre in Orihuela on Monday.
Members of the Alicante provincial fire consortium attended the scene at around 3pm, when the passenger car and the truck collided at the access road for reasons which are now under investigation.
As a result of the impact, the driver and the person who was riding in the passenger seat of the car involved they have been trapped, and had to be cut out by fire crews.
Orihuela Local Police, who dealt with the control of the incident, explained that the baby was unhurt, as, according to sources of the Provincial Fire Consortium, was the truck driver.
