Councillor says it will improve safety and reduce emissions

Pilar de la Horadada Councillor José Francisco Albaladejo had informed that speed bumps have been installed on the main streets in the municipality to improve safety for vehicles and pedestrians.

He said that because the vehicles have to slow down it will also reduce their noise and emissions.

They have already been installed on Avenida de lo Monte in Pilar and the avenues of urbanisation Mil Palmeras.

Albaladejo informed that they plan to install them all over the municipality, as well as raised pedestrian crossings, “all  to create a more pedestrian friendly town”.
