Councillor says it will improve safety and reduce emissions Pilar de la Horadada Councillor José Francisco Albaladejo had informed that speed bumps have been installed on the main streets in the municipality to improve safety for vehicles and pedestrians. Suspect was caught trying to steal spotlights while schoolchildren were performing During the closing performance of the Vega Baja School Theatre Days, while a fun adaptation of The Lion King was being performed by children from Colegio Santa María de la Huerta, at about 10:20am a man aged about 40 was surprised backstage allegedly trying to steal spotlights. Member of Moroccan people smuggling gang arrested in Almoradí

Four other detentions in operation by Murcia Guardia Civil A Guardia Civil operation against trading in human beings has resulted in the arrests of five people, one in Almoradí and the rest in Guadalupe (Murcia) y Torredembarra (Tarragona).
