Fair returns with the finest music, dancing and tapas to enjoy

Another spring week, another Sevillanas fair, this time in Almoradí, which will be held in El Bañet on Saturday, May 5th in honour of San Isidro Labarador.

To start the fair from 12 noon there will be tapas of paella and montaditos with a bar service in aid of the Moors and Christians fiesta clubs.

From 7pm the following dance schools from Almoradí and other nearby places will perform one after another:  Academia de Danza Manoli, Escuela de Danza Mari Trini, Escuela Profesional de Danza de Catral, Academia Bailoteka de San Miguel de Salinas, Academia Dance Factory and Academia de Danza Joseta.

At 11pm will be a live performance by the band Flamenco Pura Sangre, who will delight everyone with sevillanas and flamenco music in the purest Andalusian style.

Councillor Almudena Albentosa thanked all the dancers who will be participating, the fiestas committee, the village mayoress of El Bañet María José García, town hall workers and the Employment Workshop students for setting everything up. She invited all residents and visitors to enjoy this return of the Sevillanas Fair to Almoradí.

The enclosure will also have a bar and montaditos on offer to keep the party spirits up. he encouraged all local associations to join in with the bar service next year.
