Town Hall awards prizes for recent Tapas Route
On Thursday Mayor José Manuel Butrón and Councillor Ana Belén Juárez Pastor of Los Montesinos Town Hall presented the awards to the winners of the 2018 Tapas Route.
This year, as well as being chosen by members of the public, a jury was set up and two prizes were awarded by each.
The public prize for Best House Tapa went to Bar Ché Qué Bó for “El Sexto Sentido” (Sixth Sense).
The public prize for Best Gourmet Tapa went to La Cantina Tex-Mex for its “Mexican Fajita”.
The jury prize for Best House Tapa went to Bar Charly con su tapa “Mini Hamburguesa de Búffalo a la Parrilla” (Buffalo Mini-hamburger).
The jury prize for Best Gourmet Tapa went to Restaurante La Posada for its “Rollito Ibérico en Manzana” (Iberian Pork Roll in Apple).
Ana Belén Juárez congratulated the winners and said the route had promoted the variety of cuisine in the municipality and especially the Spanish tradition of tapas. She thanked the local hospitality sector for their involvement and dedication to excellence and customer loyalty.
