Boy dies playing football in Orihuela Costa

Tragedy occurred on Tuesday afternoon at Cala Bosque beach A boy aged 9 of British nationality died after running into another child when they were both playing football at Cala Bosque beach in Orihuela Costa on Tuesday, reported the Town Hall. After the impact the child fell unconscious to the floor. It happened just one day after the Lifeguard Service finished that was on Orihuela beaches over Easter week. Orihuela Costa to host Spain’s first Irish pub crawl

Town Hall presents two day event over April 14th-15th weekend Orihuela Costa is going to host Spain’s first Irish pub crawl, according to Councillor Sofía Álvarez. It will take place over the weekend of April 14th-15th from midday until midnight on both days. 31 pubs in the area will be involved, offering a half pint (or caña) with some finger food (or tapas) for €2.50. A month of music and culture in Rojales

Concerts, charity galas and tours of local countryside and culture Rojales has unveiled its culture programme for the month of April, which started last Sunday with the monthly Rodearte art and craft fair at the Rodeo caves.
