Man aged 35 injured and had to be cut out by fire brigade

A man aged 35 was injured in a traffic accident involving three vehicles on the CV-941 in San Miguel de Salinas at about 9:43am today, Wednesday.

It seems one of the cars made an illegal turn without waiting for the car coming the opposite way to pass and so colliding with it. A third vehicle that was waiting at a Stop sign was also hit.

Everyone from Torrevieja fire station was sent there and they had to cut out one of the drivers, a 35 year old man who was treated by an ambulance team and then taken to Torrevieja Hospital.

The Guardia Civil closed the affected area to traffic for about an hour while the firemen worked to free the injured driver and clear the debris from the road.
