Enjoy fun activities, exercise, free gifts and snacks this Sunday
Exercise, free, gifts, raffles, lunch, bouncy castles and good company are the attractions of the third Rojales Bicycle Fiesta this Sunday.
The Town Hall has planned this event to suit people of any age, as it is a flat, 15 kilometre route which starts and finishes at the Malecón del Soto park by the river, explained Councillor Pedro Llopis.
The route leaves the municipality towards Formentera as far as Heredades and returns along the river Segura to the golf course and back to the start.
The start is set for 10:30am and participants can pick up their numbers from the starting point from 9am. They will also receive a commemorative t-shirt and tickets for the raffle after the ride. The prizes include bicycles, cycling equipment, cosmetics, massage vouchers and a trip to the Fallas fiestas in Valencia, among others.
The Town Hall is also offering all the cyclists a lunch of sandwiches and soft drinks, and there will be bouncy castles for little children to play on.
Prizes of a meal for two will be awarded to the participants with the best decorated bicycle, best fancy dress, most original bicycle and the best classic bicycle.
The Town Hall is preparing a sizeable security operation for the event involving the Local Police, Civil Protection and ambulances.
