Special activities will be taking place this Saturday (November 26th) at the Orihuela Costa Municipal Sports Centre (CDM) to celebrate its sixth anniversary.
Between 9am and 2pm, there will be a master class in indoor cycling, a junior dance exhibition, a pádel tournament, a children’s Christmas drawing competition, Zumba, a skate park and more. There is no fee to register for any of these but those who wish can make a donation to the charity Cáritas, which is collecting food, clothes, hygiene products and toys, or cash, for the disadvantaged. There will also be music and bouncy castles throughout the morning.
Throughout the day the school swimming competition will also be taking place, which Councillor Dámaso Aparicio said is being held on the coast this year because of the anniversary. The CDM football teams will also be playing official matches.
The CDM will also be celebrating the Orihuela youth festival JUVE 2016 on December 14th and 15th from 5pm to 8pm with free activities including a rock climbing wall with a rope bridge, inflatables, Christmas workshops and electric cars, amongst others.
Another initiative of the CDM is a skiing and snowboarding trip to the Sierra Nevada, which will take place on February 10th, 11th and 12th, for which there are 50 places available.
For more information about any of the above call the CDM on 96 550 3915.
