The National Police have arrested two men and two women, aged between 24 and 63, three of them Spanish and one Colombian for an offence against public health.
The operation began about two months ago, into a criminal gang based in San Fulgencio, where its members were exclusively dedicated to the sale and distribution of cocaine in nearby municipalities.
During the investigations the ‘modus operandi’ of the gang was established, which was one of them was in charge of distributing the scale on a medium scale, while the others worked as lookouts.
Police also located in Aspe the home used by the dealers to hide the drugs and carry out their illicit activity, although they did not live in it.
Once this had been established, and after a laborious investigation, on October 24th they managed to arrest three of the gang members in San Fulgencio, when they were about to sell some cocaine, which weighed about 200 grams and was confiscated at the moment of the arrest along with a vehicle.
That same day of the arrests, two homes were searched in San Fulgencio and Aspe, from where about 2,300 grams of cocaine, 1,300 grams of cutting substance, two precision scales, a packager and about €12,000 were confiscated.
Then on October 25 in Elche, another of the gang members was arrested, who has been charged with the same offences against public health, as they belonged to and participated in the drug dealing activities, said the National Police.
