200 people made the traditional garlic dip together at the Benejúzar Experience on Sunday

Pestle, mortar, garlic, olive oil, salt and lemon were all the ingredients that almost 200 people needed to break the Spanish record for the most people making traditional ali-oli together.

Amefruits, Beneoliva, Imperio and Campos de la Vega were the four companies that made this all possible, with help from the organisers of the Benejúzar Experience.

The ‘cazuelitas’ (little dishes of food) in some of the bars were another of the day’s attractions, where there were also tastings at some of the Commerce Fair stands and workshops as well.

Sport was also on the agenda, as the 10km and 5km Villa de Benejúzar races added some extra excitement to the proceedings.
