The aim is to invigorate the trees, improve the landscape and reduce the risk of fires

This week work began to maintain and clean up the mountainside of Guardamar Castle, thanks to a much appreciated subsidy from the Provincial Council.

The work is being carried out by a company contracted directly by the Provincial Council for a sum of €33,333.33.

Councillor Silvestre García Barberá said “the objectives include key points like stopping plagues of insects from advancing, invigorating the trees, improving the landscape and reducing the risk of fires, while causing minimal collateral damage to the vegetation or the soil”.
