Training courses are being put on for unemployed residents in Orihuela Costa, which will take place in the meeting room of the Playa Flamenca Town Hall.
Registration is available until two days before each one begins, although the maximum number of participants is 25 people per course and the first 25 to register will be accepted.
To take part the following documentation is required: a copy of their DNI (Spanish ID) or passport (for foreign residents) and Residencia; a copy of their last DARDE (the card showing they are currently registered as unemployed); and an original and up to date Padrón (local census) certificate.
The first is a Food Handling course on October 19th, then there are two courses teaching English to deal with clients in the services industry (level one and two) from November 7th-11th and 21st-25th, and the last one is in commercial management and sales techniques from December 12th-16th. All the courses will be in Spanish.
To register go to either the Servicios y Mantenimiento office or the Residentes Internacionales office, both of which are in the Playa Flamenca Town Hall.
