Incident happened after an argument in Redovan in 2012
The Orihuela Criminal Court has condemned a man to four years in prison for having run over two people with his car in the doorway of a pub in Redovan. He was convicted of two offences of injuries, although he will not actually have to go to prison because they are counted separately and neither of them is for more than two years.
It was in December 2012 when, according to the sentence, the convicted man had an argument with another person in the bar. The man left and then returned minutes later, this time in his vehicle, crashing into the terrace of the premises and causing serious injuries to two young people who had nothing to do with the previous incident.
The convicted man admitted the charges and has also been ordered to stay away from the victims and pay them €2,000 each in compensation.
