Several computers were stolen and doors destroyed
The National Police arrested four juveniles on Monday as the suspected people who burgled the Antonio Sequereros Special Education Public School in Orihuela at the weekend.
Police confirmed that the youths, aged between 13 and 16, got into the school and stole several laptop computers from the Information Technology classroom. It seems that one of those arrested is a pupil at this school and had stolen a set of keys a few days before. The youths got into the premises through the gate using these keys and only caused damage to several interior doors.
The school workers found the classrooms had been “turned upside down” when they came in on Monday and called the police. At the end of the evening officers detained four juveniles in the San Antón neighbourhood, which is where the school is located.
