The legendary Monroe’s crew bring live bands this Sunday afternoon “Rock Against Cancer” is a great live music event to raise money for the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC). This charity rock concert has some of the best bands on the Costa Blanca lined up: Magnetik Surf, Deja Vu, Black Thunder (ACDC tribute band), Los Duques, Rebel Fires, Kolted, and as a special guest, the well known guitar player Santiago Campillo (founder of the band M Clan). It will take place on the 10th of May, starting at 4pm and admission is free but people are welcometo help with the fundraising by making donations at the AECC stand, buying t-shirts (for only €5, sponsored by Scansat), drinks, food and raffle tickets. A Bicycle Party has been organised by Decathlon sports shop in Zenia Boulevard shopping centre, Orihuela Costa. Everyone who would enjoy a bike ride is welcome to take part, and the group will go off on a 6.5 kilometre (4mile) circuit. It starts at 10:30am on Sunday, May 10th in the car park outside the shop.
