Animal charity Cruz Azul will be celebrating their first anniversary on the 4th of July in true USA style with entertainment from the Riverside Blues Band, line dancing, and lots of American vintage cars. They will have hotdogs and burgers on sale too and you’re welcome to wear your Stetson and cowboy boots too – yee ha!

That is not all as in September the popular Walk on the Bark Side event returns. By public demand, they are now running this event twice a year, so come along with your pooch (or borrow one!) to enjoy a great day out meeting new friends and helping a good cause. Stay to enjoy some Tapas and music at the end of your walk along the prom.

WALK ON THE BARK SIDE – Sunday, 14 September – 11:00 to 15:00 Esplanada de Barnuevo, Santiago de la Ribera

Distance: 3 Km. Entry: €5. Entry forms available from the Cruz Azul Shop in San Javier (next to Yorkshire Linen).

After that, the next event is a Christmas Market in November, A chance to stock up on your gifts for Christmas. Lots of really interesting craft stalls to visit and a few surprises. Get in contact if you would like to book a stall.

Don’t forget that the CRUZ AZUL SHOP is open Monday to Saturday – 10:00 to 14:00. They have a great selection of clothes, jewellery, accessories, furniture, household goods, bric-a-brac and lots more, so come and have a browse. If you’re de-cluttering or making some room in your wardrobe, your donations would be very welcome.
